What you get for each job
- Match score
- How well your résumé fits this job, out of 100, read the way a recruiter and the company’s ATS would.
- Missing keywords
- Skills, tools and qualifications the job asks for that your résumé doesn’t show, such as “Kubernetes” or “P&L ownership”.
- Strong matches
- What your résumé already proves for this role, so you know what to keep near the top.
- Top changes
- Three to five concrete edits for this job, each saying which section to change and why it helps.
Why match each job separately
Recruiters search their applicant tracking system for the words in their own job post. The same résumé can match one role well and another badly, even in the same field. Checking each application takes a minute and shows exactly which true details to bring forward.

Questions
How do I compare my resume with a job description?
Upload your résumé, sign in (free, no password), then paste the job description into Job match. You get a match score, missing and matching keywords, and the top changes for that role.
Is the job match free?
Your first job per résumé is free; after that each check costs 1 credit. Once you’ve run a Deep Fix on a résumé, job checks against it are free, and each one shows how your original upload compared.
Should I add every missing keyword?
Only the ones that are true. A keyword you can’t back up in an interview does more harm than good. CVPulse never adds skills you haven’t told it about; it lists the gaps so you can decide.
Can CVPulse tailor my resume to the job?
Yes. After a Deep Fix, “Tailor a job version” rewrites your résumé for that job description using only what’s already in it. The first version is free, then 5 credits each.
Is my job description stored?
Yes, with your résumé, so you can re-check it later from any device. It’s deleted along with the résumé: after 30 days (or 6 months if you’ve chosen longer storage), or straight away if you delete it.
